Mail to Claude (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Jake Simmonds. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website at mailtoclaude.com and our macOS application (collectively, the “Service”).

  • Email address — provided when you create an account or purchase a licence. Used for authentication, licence delivery, and support.
  • Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. We receive your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
  • Licence key — generated when you subscribe. Stored alongside your email to validate your macOS app installation.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Importantly, we never collect, access, store, or transmit:

  • The content of your emails
  • Email attachments or images
  • Any data from your Apple Mail application

The Mail to Claude macOS app runs entirely on your computer. Email content is read locally by the app and passed directly to Claude Desktop on your machine. No email data ever leaves your computer or passes through our servers.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To deliver your licence key via email
  • To validate your licence when the macOS app starts
  • To process subscription payments through Stripe
  • To send important service updates (e.g. subscription expiry)

6. Data Retention

We retain your email address and licence information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for up to 30 days after the subscription period ends, after which it may be deleted. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and secure storage for data at rest. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant.

  • Request deletion of your data
  • Cancel your subscription at any time from your account page

9. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics. We use only essential cookies required for authentication (login session tokens).
